Millie & Owen

This is Owen with his little sister Millie.  Owen is 12" and Millie is 11" but a thinner body style.  Both have beige skin, auburn hair with subtle highlights of sage green and plum.  Both also have freckles.  Owen has brown eyes and Millie has green eyes.  Both are wearing overalls and will also both have winter attire so they can be warm playing in the snow with your little ones.  They will be for sale shortly as soon as I get their coats done.  

Tyson-Custom 15 inch boy

This is Tyson, he is a custom 15 inch little boy with fair skin, blue eyes, freckles, and blonde hair with a lot of color mixed in.  He has a touch of red, blue, green, black, and yellow.  His new owner had very specific requests about him.  Tyson is going to be a very special birthday gift for a very special little boy. His mom said he chose everything out by himself down to the clothes he would wear.  He was so fun to make and definitely brought me out of my comfort zone with all the fun colors in his boucle hair.  It was a challenge to find all the colors that would work together but it was a fun challenge.  I think it came out much cuter than I first envisioned it.  It's always fun to do something different.  Hopefully this little boy will find a true friend in this little guy.

Mareena

This is Mareena, a custom 12 inch doll.  She is one of my favorites thus far.  I love her color combo that this customer picked out.  I also loved the way her dress came out.  Just a classic style dress and I'm always a fan of crochet lace.  She just has a simple elegance about her.  She was a hard one to send away. We all fell in love with her.  That doesn't always happen here.  My kids will sometimes find one they love but it's rarely the same doll for them all.

My little girl said she should be named Maria and then my older daughter thought it would be funny to name her Aqua Maria.  So somehow in all that discussion we came up with Mareena.  I love it when my kids come up with names.  Sometimes they do a good job and other times you wonder where in the world they got that name from.

Welcome

Hi.  Welcome to the Lollipoppy blog.  I decided I would start a blog just for my Waldorf doll addiction.  Hopefully here I can post photos of the dolls I make as well as some simple doll clothes' patterns.  There are a lot of very simple things you can make even without a pattern.  I think part of the love of dolls comes from being able to change their clothes.  That was always my favorite part as a child.  I also believe that as a mother, you should have an active role in your child's play.  Part of your fun can be creating something for your child's doll.
